This is honestly long overdue—thank you, Mozilla, for stepping up. WhatsApp has such a massive user base, especially in countries where elections are happening soon. The damage misinformation can do in those moments is enormous. It’s shocking that forwarded messages still spread like wildfire with so little oversight. I fully support Mozilla’s campaign—Change WhatsApp needs to gain traction fast. Limiting forwards and labelling them? That’s not censorship, that’s common sense. Fact-checking tools aren’t a luxury any more—they’re a necessity. This isn’t just about tech—it’s about protecting democracy. WhatsApp has the resources to do better. It’s time they proved it. Signing the petition. Every voice matters on this.
